Hot shot 9 April 2012
Format:Paperback
As I have been making jewellery for some time I really wasn't sure what this book would have for me. However once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. Jennifer Chin includes clear instructions with plenty of illustrations. There are galleries of works to illustrate and inspire each method she discusses. And all the projects are inspiring. Definitely for intermediate to advanced readers but beginners are not left out either.

This book contains a lot of good and usefull tips for every jewellry making person.
Especially if you feel stuck and need some new inspiration for a bit different ways to design your jewellery with an extra technical connection.
The book can be used both for beginners, as a guide to how to start with hot connections, but it's also a very good inspirational and educational reference-guide for the more advance silversmiths and designers.

I can share a funny moment with you from my class. I brought the book to get me some new inspiration, but didn't get to look in it myself until the last minutes of the class .. even my teacher had grabbed it and sat with it for a long time saying "this book is very good, we should have one copy here". =)
(PS. The story is true and no, I did not recieve any money or anything for saying it)
