Product Description

From the Author

Sweet, steamy, and *very* satisfying...
A Valentine's Day anthology of stories from bestselling authors, Suzanne Forster, Lori Foster, Elda Minger and Fayrene Preston. These luxurious love stories will melt your cares away, and fulfill your most delectable dreams... Hello readers! I had so much fun with my novella in this anthology. And after reading the other stories, which were wonderful, I'm so happy to have been included. My own story is about a shy woman and a determined man. *Night after night, bar owner Cole Winston was seduced by prim and proper Sophie Sheridan's way with hot chocolate... and then her sexy and outrageous twin, Shelly, walked into the bar. Cole didn't know what to do -- until he discovered Sophie was an only child.* Give Hot Chocolate a try, then let me know what you think.

I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed the first two stories in this book, especially Tangled Sheets by Lori Foster! I have reread that story many a time! Because I enjoyed the story so much I surfed this site to find other books of hers and ordered some. The same with Suzanne Forster. The preview at the end of Hot Chocolate made me want to read it.

The third story in this book was alright, but a little bland and didn't keep my attention. I will look for her other books to see is she has something I would enjoy more.

The last story was good and I enjoyed reading. Overall, this book was great. But as I said before, Tangled Sheets was the best.

5.0 out of 5 stars HOT CHOCOLATE! HOT STUFF 30 Jan 2004
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Four authors with four stories with the same common theme, hot chocolate and hot love.
I love all of these stories and would recommend this book simply because the stories had a really nice feeling attached to them.

2.0 out of 5 stars Average 8 Jan 2004

Format:Mass Market Paperback
A compilation of four short stories - all (of course) with the theme of Chocolate I bought this book because of Lori Foster of whome I'm a fan.

First story 'Not Abigail' about a personal assistant that turns over a new leaf and seduces her boss - Average. Kind of silly

Story two Lori Foster's 'Tangled sheets' about a shy girl who pretends to her sexy twin to snag the man of her dreams (one of the Winston Brothers if you're familiar Foster's work). Sweet and entertaining.

Story three. 'Buried in her heart' about a Lawyer who loves cooking and meets the man of her dreams during a cooking conference. Forgetable.

Story four, 'Ecstacy' by Fayrene Preston about a multimillionaire that tries to buy a small restaurant but falls in love with the talented cook.

All the stories have that the feel of those short stories in Womens magazines, you enjoy them while your reading but you instantly forget them when they're done. Can't really recommend the book but if you're friend has it borrow it for a quick read if you (like myself) are a romance junkie.

3.0 out of 5 stars HOT is right . . . 25 May 1999

There's a lot of sweaty sheets in this one but the short story format left a lot to be desired in the form of undeveloped stories, superficial characters.

Like great chocolate, this anthology is a fabulous treat. I couldn't tell you which was my favorite, although I just love the way Lori Foster writes heros and Suzanne Forster's humor. This book is everything chocolate should be - lucious, tempting, satisfying and just a touch wicked! You will not be disappointed by this collection. It leaves you wanting more!

5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST BUY ROMANCE BOOK! 2 Feb 1999
By A Customer
Format:Mass Market Paperback
I LOVE anthologies (if they are well written), hey, three or four stories for the price of one! And this one is very well written. All of the stories are great, but one stands out to me and that's Suzanne Forster's "Not Abigail". This is truly chicken soup for those of us who are "romantically-challanged". In a humorous, yet sympathatic way Abigail represents everything women have gone (and are going) through. I adore and admire this woman. If Suzanne Forster is reading any of this, please keep it up, girl! I LOVED this story and would like to see more. This is a keeper!

5.0 out of 5 stars Romantic, Funny and Totally Original 1 Feb 1999

Format:Mass Market Paperback
Suzanne Forster's "Not Abigail" is one of the most original stories I've read in a long time. Her whacky sense of humor is both enthralling and refreshing! Where she got the idea for this story is beyond me, but I LOVED it. From beginning to end, I simply LOVED it!

5.0 out of 5 stars A sensory experience 12 Dec 1998
By A Customer
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Four of the romance genre's hottest authors have provided tales to this well-written anthology using HOT CHOCOLATE as a theme.

In Suzanne Forster's "Not Abigail!" multi-billionaire Max Gallagher gives his mousy assistant Abigail two weeks to find him a wife. She loves her boss, but it takes her friend's hot chocolate laced with a love potion for her to show him how she feels. Readers will not need a love potion to enjoy this story.

"Tangled Sheets" by Lori Foster stars Cole Winston, owner of a tavern. The only woman he finds interesting, Sophie, orders a hot chocolate at his establishment every night. She is too repressed to go after him so she invents a twin Shelly who goes after Cole. They spend a night of passion together, but Sophie flees when she realizes Cole knows who she really is. No repression for fans who will relish Ms. Foster's fine tale.

Category superstar Elda Minger contributes a very romantic tale in "Buried In her Heart." Attorney Abby wants to be a chef. Jack is opening up a California bistro that badly needs a gourmet chef. They meet while rescuing a cat together. They soon learn they are staying at the same place. He offers her a job and more, but will she have the courage to go after the two things she desires most in life?

Famous Loveswept author Fayrene Preston completes the book with the lovely "Ecstasy." Brenna's fudge is the rage and tycoon Hayden wants to mass produce it. He also wants Brenna, but how does he prove his love to her?

This Valentine's Day collection is a hot drink on that cold wintry day.
