Very nice looking item and well manufactured. I bought two of them to protect my cat's paws if they jumped up on the hob. I didn't realise though that the item would still get hot - my friend did call me a silly cow when she pointed out that the glass actually says "Hot" so of course it would! Anyway, I decided to keep them as they have given me extra work surface and will look good if I use them on my dining room table to protect it from hot dishes
