Don't have a soup maker so cannot compare. I don't think it's that noisy though.

Yes it is possible, dipents on what milk you use , for not froth use milk with low fat.

I've never tried it but I think it would because the hot chocolate and coffee I've made are really hot.

I have only used the machine to heat milk. It spins the milk around which causes it to froth. I have no idea what it would do to soup-sorry.

Foam blender?? If you mean if the machine makes milk foam the answear is yes.
