I bought the hot tray to be able to use on Christmas day and it's one of the best things I have ever bought. It heats up very easily, it is cordless and it kept the food warm for at leat one hour - exactly what it said on the instructions.

This is great. I was unsure as to whether or not to buy one large or two small trays (as I thought only one small one would not be sufficient). I chose the larger one and I'm glad I did. I think two smaller ones would take up too much room if they were set on the table together. It has quite a large area, heated up in about 8-9 minutes and did keep hot for a good hour, just like it said on the box. It will scratch, however, and instructions on the box indicate that you must be careful placing dishes on it - obviously not sliding or dragging them across. It is quite sleek-looking but is large to store. I actually put it on top of my kitchen cupboards with a polythene cover over the top but it's esily accessible there and doesn't take up any valuable kitchen cupboard space where you would be tempted to stack things on top of it. It's so good, I'm thinking of buying the smaller one too as this will be useful for just my husband and I. We much prefer this to the heated trolley which can be cumbersome and I don't like the tureens in the top of those trollies. I know they hold a lot more, but this is the thing that works for us. It needn't be put onto the table either if you're short of space (say at Christmas time), but can be useful to keep foods warm in the kitchen while everyone is eating. I also think this will be great during the summer months as it can be taken outside to use when we're having barbecues - weather permitting, of course!

I am relatively pleased with this hot tray. It is a nice size and really good value for money. The only down side would be it does not get as hot as my old one which lasted 30 years, but I like the fact that this one will heat up and you can unplug it to transport it to the table and it stays quite hot for an hour. It is also an attractive looking item.

Great addition to the kitchen
