A strong plot that analyzes one of the most poignant parts of star wars-Princess Leia and the survivors of Aldeeran. The book is set both in the OT and in Leia's childhood, revealing Leia's childhood and hidden Jedi talents and her mysterious protector.
Although aimed for children this book deals with heavy issues which is does very well. The book analyzes how Leia's actions and the actions of Bail Organa affected Aldeeran and it's people. Worth a read if you have an interest in Princess Leia

Another excellent installment of Rebel Force. This one follow's Leia through her toughest challenge yet. She's going home. The sister planet Delaya where many of the Alderaan survivors have been taken in by the planet. Its amazing the stark differences between the two planets. Once again the charactorations are amazing. From Han sort of bonding with a Alderaan survivor to Luke's accidential kidnapping and the discover of exactly how well the survivors have been taken care off. I also enjoyed Fess who's idenity will probably be easy to figure out. I can't wait to read the rest of this series.

My nephew loves this series. He thoroughly enjoyed the first book in this series so I got him this second one , which he liked just as much. He couldn't put it down. They're great for kids who are beyond the reading level of the "learning to read" style books, but maybe not yet ready for the content of an adult Star Wars novel.
