Book Description

* A publishing phenomena in the 1970s and 1980s --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

Product Description

An omnibus of two of Doris Stokes' extremely successful books, INNOCENT VOICES IN MY EAR and WHISPERING VOICES, bestsellers in the early 1980s.

Doris Stokes was a celebrated medium who confounded sceptics by the uncanny accuracy of her readings. In Australia she filled the Sydney Opera House and was mobbed in the streets. In America 'Charlie's Angels' was moved from its primetime slot to make way for her. In Britain she filled the Albert Hall, and radio phone-ins caused blocked lines and an avalanche of mail.

Doris Stokes possessed an amazing gift - exceptional psychic powers that over the years of her extraordinary life brought joy and comfort to thousands of people...

The Second Doris Stokes Collection ''A Host of Voice'' is a book which should be in every household across the globe.

I have never read a book so quick in all my life. I read it in ONE day. Really I did, I ate the pages it was that good.

I can't believe how good she really was how accurate her readings and shows where. I bet she is among all the ''saints'' in heaven the great work she did for the sick she really was an Angel.

Please go out and buy this book you will no longer be afraid to die when you hear what awaits us in the next dimension.

A place like home 24 Jun 2010

I love this book, her smiling face on the covers is welcoming.........opening the book up is always a wealth of personal experienced shared.saying it how it is, her inner thoughts and how she communicated her way and coped with her own personal illnesses......and yet still working and reaching to many people....I loved hearing about her background and how it all started for her, natural and yet still questioned as she had time for the many people that she met...a mum to many on both sides of the fence....a must for for anyones collection of books.....
much love to you dee weldon bird

I feel very close to Doris Stokes
I tried this book but after a few chapters actually up to chapter 5
Strange but I felt that I was not reading Doris.
I am unable to explain it was almost as if not her writing, not sure
why I have lost the link. I am not really questioning whether Doris wrote this.
I just do not know why I felt like that.
I will try again to see if I can reconnect.
