Review

"I would definitely recommend this book to all staff with an interest and involvement in intravenous drug therapy." The Pharmaceutical Journal

"There is no doubt that nurses will find this small book useful. It should be available for consultation in any clinical area where drugs are administered to patients by the injectable routes." Journal of Clinical Nursing

5.0 out of 5 stars DEFINITELY ONE TO BUY!!!!! 17 Sep 2009
I purchased this book after attending an IV course where it was used by the tutor- it is a fantastic book crammed full of the type of information needed on a busy ward- it's so good I showed it to other staff members including my ward manager who went into raptures, showed it to the modern matron & copies of the book have now been purchased for all the wards in the hospital

5.0 out of 5 stars Really good reference book. 18 Oct 2011
I would recommend this to any nurse, I find it particularly useful as a reference for IV administration. It gives advice and clear instructions on administering individual medications and is now being used in most of the hospitals I work in.

Good reference book. Useful for oncall queries. To some extent usefulness replaced for NHS users by internal online resource.

First saw this book during my IV drug update. I then decided to buy one. It is a very helpful and useful tool especially to newly qualified nurses. Nice to share with colleagues too. Can't wait for the next edition.
