confidence in the future,

Having tried lots of diets as they became the 'in thing' and sometimes losing weight but ALWAYS putting it back on again I thought I would try this book.It's not a diet book as such but for the first time I have something that explains how my body works, in a way that I can see makes sense. So I can understand myself how to reach my proper weight over time. I am happy with my lifestyle now and am gradually losing weight, this gives me the confidence to say that I won't put it straight back on again this time around!

I was recommended this book by a doctor at a weight loss clinic. It is not your typical "diet" book because there is no set regime or diet to follow, as such. But the book explains the science and psychology behind weight loss so it really helped me understand why I putting on weight in the first place. I realised I was making a lot of dieting mistakes, buying all the wrong "diet" foods and punishing myself unnecessarily. It is a very insightful book, easy to read with lots of pictures and diagrams. Since buying the book in May, I have lost 4 stones, never felt hungry and so far, so good.
