A Great bedtime read,

My 3 and a quarter year old loves this book and Simon Puttock's other books. We've had this one for about a year and a half now and it grows with her. It's a great book for reading aloud as you can put on different character voices for the cow and horse. A great bedtime read!

We get lots of books from the library, but this is one of the few that stick in our minds, so now we're buying it. It's got a nice rhythm and is a lovely comforting story. We read it with our 3-year old, taking it in turns to say the repeated bits ("certainly not!" always a favourite!), and are now keen to share it with our nearly 1-year old too.
