Negative With No Alternatives Offered. 7 Jun 2011
By T. Dreiling - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This collection of rather scattered essays is basically all negative about medical treatment for transsexuals but offers nothing as an alternative.
interesting relic 18 Jan 2006
By Maude Lebowski - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
The beginnings of a psychoanalytic exploration of the common traits found in self-accounts of transsexuals. As analysis, this is not about what "real" transsexuals" "really" do and why, but about the cultural and psychical phenomena that accompany transsexuals' own accounts of their feelings.

this book killed my mother 29 July 2011
By hester prynne coatl - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I was sitting in the parlor of my home at age 14 and my mother and a friend were discussing this particular book, as her friend had found it in a second-hand bookstore and ze was entranced by the cover photo. Suddenly the lights started flickering and the book started hovering and violently moving about the room. It began to rip its pages into sharp paper teeth and sped at my mother, slicing deep into her neck and shoulder with a series of vicious paper cuts. She bled out before the ambulance could arrive. I obviously burned the book and spread the ashes to the winds and to this day I fear this piece of literary garbage ever crossing my path again. It haunts my nightmares.
