America exploded on to the acoustic rock scene in the early 1970s and this 10 track collection is ideal for the enquirer who wants to decide for themselves.
The songs range from the mystifying A Horse With No Name to the joyful Ventura Highway via the gentle Lonely People and lovely Sister Golden Hair.
If any songs don't quite hit the highest spots, like Daisy Jane and Amber Cascades, well the band can get away with it, such is the quality of all the other 8 songs.
I also fully recommend their self titled debut album and their second, Homecoming.
I can't say the same about their subsquent albums which all to often travelled towards middle of the road.
This is worth 5 stars and the sound quality is crystal clear.
