This story lacks the charm that most of the Black Stallion books contain, but it still has its entertaining moments.
In his youth Henry Daily was sent to help his older brother Bill, who has a knack for taming the wildest horse and soothing the most squittish. Rapidly he becomes one of the most saught after horse tamers, and yet all Bill wants is to teach owners how to care for thier horses properly and so make life better for them and their horses. Then he hears of a former collogue who is now taming ill behaved horses in a matter of minutes and Bill knows that these horses are being starved into obeying, but how can he expose the fake?
