This review is from: The Horse Morse Code: A Riding Revolution, Simplicity, Lightness the Aim (Paperback)
If anyone has trouble obtaining lightness with their horse this is the book for them. It is a system that works. having met david at a lecture he was absolutly passionate about his work. An accomplised rider having trained under Nuno Olivera, this man has developed a series of messages to use to communicate with the horse. The book can be a little difficult to follow as he has written it very conversationally and it can be a bit disjointed, but if you can get over that and try his methods you will be very surprised at how effective they are! I have struggled to get my willful youngster to work in a consistant outline but using this method he flexes willingly and works from behind, and I will certainly be pursueing it. His messages follow the classical guidelines and are considerate to the horse concentrating on reward for the slightest move to your goal. The horse becomes very willing and progress can be made rapidly. I have read many books by classical authors but this method gets my vote.
