These early readers are a really excellent idea. They take a Horrid Henry story (previously published - this story was originally in "Horrid Henry's Underpants") and turn it into a chapter book with colour illustrations. The story is split into six chapters, making each small chapter an easy way for a child to read a story which might be daunting in its original version. My 6 year old loves them and can read them alone. Wonderful and Horrid Henry can tempt even the most reluctant reader. In this story, Henry is forced to write his Christmas thank you letters for his terrible presents. Of course, Perfect Peter has already done his, to add to Henry's annoyance. Then he comes up with a cunning plan to make some money...
