Bought this DVD as teaching Tudors to yr 3/4 this term. Thought it would be same as CBBC TV series but NOT. It is animated and no where near as humourous as other version. Wish I had spend an extra £2!!

My class loved it - they remembered random facts from the DVD after months and months. Good product - can't go wrong with Horrible Histories.

It's produced very badly, hard to follow, with no clear story line (so the History is't told well). Some good sections that could be extracted as one off clips to support teaching, like the section on medicine. But the History is poor, the DVD claims the English sank the Spanish Armada! Not very impressed.
