This was a present for an 8year old. He loves the gory bits(and so did I)and I think it was instrctive as well as amusing.

I absolutely LOVE horrible histories, and I'm 28! You`'re never too old or young to have fun learning! I always liked history but got bored in lessons with the dates of this, timeline of that etc. By tells you the good, the bad and the gory, in an UNBIASED way, which I think is very important and very rare in English schools. 5/5 ad always
