I too bought this for my 8 year old. However the game is definately too hard - I am a lecture at University so no dummy but even I cannot find all the spot the differences. Added to that the locations of the differences need clicking to the left or right as the programming is not precise. We've sat togther and played which is great but we've reached a point where we cannot progress due to this one spot the difference being incomplete. So mine with be sold shortly - it is a such a shame as the concept was good.

My son (aged 8) and I enjoyed playing this game but we both found it a little repetitive, in that there were too many "find the difference" mini games. The differences were often difficult to find, being very tiny differences and my son always asked me to do these for him.

However, we did complete the entire game only to find at the end that we could not open two locked doors and we could not save the final gladiator fight. If anyone has achieved this, please write and tell me how. Thanks.

I am 11 years old and I did not find this game hard. I did not need a pen and paper to solve the clues and only occasionally needed help with the spot-the-differences. There was a great story to it, after you got past a few gladiator fights. I found this game challenging at times but overall very enjoyable.
P.S: My 8yr old brother could also do the puzzles and did not find it too hard.
