Useful for KS2 children 18 Feb 2012

I bought this for my KS2 class who were studying Egyptians. They loved the stories and characters. It gave them lots of ideas for their own stories. Its not amazing; I found the accents and voices a bit irritating but then I'm not 8 and don't have a diet of cartoons from the US. The stories are short and its easy to navigate.
Definitely worth buying if you want a visual way to engage younger children and get them talking.

I should have looked closer at the description. I assumed (incorrectly) that this was a DVD of the popular chidren's TV series 'Horrible Histories' but it wasn't. It is a rather poor American cartoon. I was hoping to show it to my Yr 3 class (I am a teacher) but I don't think they would learn a lot from it.
