Transport yourself back 25 years to the golden age of Hanoi Rocks. Remember those rasping riffs and the kinda attitude that every rock god should possess? Although some might critise Michael for it, the former Rocks frontman continues to deliver what his fans want. Thank the dark lord, there's no room for experimentation here, Horns and Halos simply kicks ass! It's a triumph!

Ginger's gone, and Dregen is in, and Michael Monroe has another belter of an album. Not as immediately aggressive or in yer face as Sensory Overdrive, but just as rocking. This is a band that have found their groove with the addition of Dregen and the result is one of Michael's best 'solo' albums since Not Fakin' It.

I had the privilege of seeing this Finnish nutter supporting Motorhead a few years back at Brixton Academy, climbing all over the lighting rigs, giving a full range of his back catalogue. What a showman, along with the band seriously gave Lem and the boys a run for their money on that occasion!

Seroiusly, this is a fantastic album, not a duff track in sight. It's been In my ears since arrival. In my humble opinion, better than the last - just seems a bit more consistent.

If you're a fan, why haven't you got this already (ok, it took me a few months!!), if not give it a go. Inspirational, life affirming stuff. Top quality Punk Rock.

I've always liked the style Michael Monroe makes music and this one really goes on the top. Must to have if you like pure, genuine rock.

saw michael munroe at the old High Voltage festival at vicky park in London. He climbed up the outside of the stage to around 30 feet before being told off by the health & safety steward, priceless. Hanoi Rocks and so does michael munroe. If you're new to mm best to start with his previous album sensory overdrive
