very interesting book i must say, full of track plans some of them must be stunning when built, i would love to have the space for these but alas its not to be, still worth a look full of info , gave me a few ideas to adjust my ideas for the space i had in the garage

Very useful. the only thing I dont like about it is the numeroud pages of foreign languages translated. Can't Hornby do seperate ones for different languages? But that aside good overall.

This book does what it says on the cover. It is a useful selection of track plans for layouts of various sizes and complexity. It will help people decide what sort of model railway they want to build. It provides many good examples to copy.

Print far to small to read with ease.
Way over the top with differant pages of langusge edits. Which results in poor content for he cost.

This latest edition is much improved on edit. 11. There is detailed information on Hornby digital - a great help for anyone who is just starting. All in all a comprehensive manual.
