Nothing can beat the performance and sheer awesome elegance of the 300kph Eurostar train as it cuts through the Kent countryside heading for the Channel Tunnel and then on from there to Paris or Brussels.The stunning Hornby train set features a Power driving unit, dummy driving unit and two passenger saloons.The models include flush glazing, detailed roof panels and simulated pantographs.The Eurostar is certainly not out of place as it powers around the large oval of track included in the set which also incorporates two sidings with the inside siding offering a place for the Eurostar to be stationed overnight.

this is a great train if you have it on its own lay out, but if you put the train in a big lay out with other trains you will find a problem. because the coaches are connected by a pin and a hole it swings, so if you have the eurostar on a track that is in the inside of another and a different train is on the other outer track , when the go passed each other they will clash becuse of the euro star swinging. But overall a good roduct.

I've wanted one of these since I was 7, now, another seven years on and I've finally got one!!! This train is fantastic, and even better, I'm out of that childhood phase when, if you have an electric train set, you just put it at top speed and fling it off the track at the corners. Hopefully I wont break this one, and will start to collect very soon, especially when I become 16 and get a job. Great for beginners, great for experienced, and if you are a speedy kind of person, then you'll want to have a big space with ALOT of track to get this up to top speed!!!

Our grand children, who are 30 months old, have enjoyed the toy under supervision and like it very much. Our next purchase would be to add the additional parts to the set.
