I previously owned the Hori DSi XL Multi Pouch, and was looking for something similar for my 3DS.
I have to say, looking at the image, it's very different from its predecessor. However, I decided to give it a try, since I was in love with the old one; I'm glad I did!

So the main features of this is that the in the first compartment, a 3DS console can fit comfortably in the pocket provided.
On the opposite site of that, you can hold 3 game cartridges, and there is space to fit some earphones in behind that.

As for the other compartment, there is an open space, plus two stylus slots. You can bung in pretty much anything you want in here; although it must be said that it is a bit tight if you try and put the bulky UK AC adapter in here.

Saying this, a nice surprise that I found, was that the circle pad actually fits as well!
Recently I've been playing nothing but MGS Snake Eater, so it's the perfect solution to be able to carry both around on the go. I don't think I would be able to do this with the other pouches out there (even it's predecessor).
Very good product, and I'm glad I went for it!

Chunky, and not particularly protective. 26 May 2012

Amazon Vine™ Review (What's this?)
Fun:
I was surprised to receive a case here that really isn't very protective at all!

I prefer my cases to be a little more padded, which this case really isn't. I also prefer my cases not to be too bulky, which this is. What the Hori 3DS Multi Travel Pouch does, is hold your 3DS (or DS system) and games/charger. And that's about it.

Getting the 3DS into/out of the case is not my favorite thing to do, having to brave zippers, but once it's in, it's not going anywhere. Unfortunately, your 3DS will probably take some damage if you drop the pouch onto a hard surface, as the pouch (fair enough, it's a POUCH, not a CASE!) doesn't offer much protection with its very thin sides.

I find this a reasonable place to store my 3DS/games etc while in the home, but I probably wouldn't travel much with it, because quite simply it doesn't offer enough shock protection in your backpack.

Overall, 3 stars out of 5.
Nice Case 19 April 2012

Amazon Vine™ Review (What's this?)
Fun:
This product is a travel case for Nintendo 3DS, DSi or DS Lite. It's approximately 6 inches wide, 4 inches high, and 3 inches deep. It's divided into two lightly padded interior compartments. There is room for the DS itself, two loops to store your stylus, three pockets to hold games, plus two other large pockets to hold other things. There is also a detachable wrist strap.

Overall, this is nicely constructed, with plenty of room to store necessary items. Take note that although padded, this is a SOFT case. It will not protect your DS if you drop it on a hard surface, nor can you throw it in a backpack or bag and expect it to be crush-proof. But if a travel case is what you're looking for, this one is very good.
Another Kitchen Sink Solution 11 April 2012

Amazon Vine™ Review (What's this?)
Fun:
As the title indicates this is another case of the "bring it all with you" variety. It has storage for the 3DS, 3 games, 2 stylii, charger, and includes a wrist strap. The case is divided into two compartments with the 3DS sliding into a separate sleeve in the first to keep it more secure. The inside of the case is also lined with a soft microfiber, which shouldn't scratch you console.

My gripe with the case is that, in general, it is very large, about 25% wider than the 3DS and about 3 times thicker. It's really quite big. Also, it only has sleeves to carry 3 game cartridges though plenty of space to carry more - Hori makes an optional plastic cartridge carrier that fits the case. Finally, it's outside edges are more flexbile and less padded than the equally large Power A branded case. (Directly comparing the Power A to this case, the Power A case seems to be made of tougher material and is better padded but doesn't carry the charger as easily.)

In summary, this a good case with no glaring flaws, and for those looking to take everything with them, this is a decent choice. For those looking for a sleeker option, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
