I recently purchased the stick to go with my Soul Calibur V game.
First of all, I was impressed with the packaging.
I love the colour and design, and it has a nice handle as well (although it's not really needed if you get it online).
I own a HRAP, but decided to get this one for (obviously) the Soul Calibur design, but also to try out the new features.
The start button now has a casing, so there's no worry about accidental pressing in tournaments.
It seems the PS3 version has a USB port for keyboards, but this one still has a headphone input, so I think that's enough really.
The only complaint I have with this is the handle on the sides.
I feel that it was a bit more comfortable before, but doesn't affect anything on the gameplay side.
As usual, the stick has Sanwa parts, and a nice sturdy build.

A really great fightstick, arcade parts feel great, but are the small details what make it so great.
Switchable start/back buttons, the side handles, the possibility to hide the start button so you don't accidentally press it.... are small things that make this stick stand upon others with the same arcade parts.
Furthermore, it's a really well endowed stick, and really beautiful if you like the art used.
Really a recommended purchase por fighting game fans.

I've played fighting games since Street Fighter I, Own a TE Edition FighStick, have used and build several sticks by myself.
Review:
First, if you are lucky enough to buy this while Amazon has it on sale ( just $109.9 ) congratulations!! You are getting a great control with full sanwa parts, good art and an innovative design for a bargain. Believe me, I did some research and if you buy all the pieces separately you will spend more than $140.
I did test this with (of course) Soul Calibur V, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and King of Fighters XIII, and it works perfect. Of course this is because it has Sanwa parts, so if something goes wrong in the game the fault is from the player's execution, not the controls.
As an extra, for those who like to mod their controls, this es easy modable, but watchout, you know you will void your warranty if you do ( only if you take off the bottom panel where the warranty label is, the toppanel can be modified without issues).

i was skeptical about buying a controller that cost so much, but it is well worth it if you play fighting games or Arcade games. I personally use it for SC4-5 Tekken6 and capcom vs marvel3 along with a few others and it has increased my level of play from an intermediate to advanced in about a week.
As far as the stick it self goes it's of solid construction looks great and cleans/stores easy the buttons are a little loud at first but as long as your not smashing them after awhile you can play with no sound at all.there's nothing that I would change about this stick all an all 10 out 10 well worth the price.

Hey guys I would like to let you all know starting out, that this is a great product! They're are two personal problems I have with it. 1. The shipping took a little long for the a impatient kind of person like me. Took over a week to come. ZzzzzZZZzzzz. 2. Problem which is kind of my fault but wanted to help someone who doesn't pay attention to details. If you intend to play Tekken or street fighter with a fight stick, this is not the stick for you!! the button lay-out is specifically created for Soul Caliber. You will have to change the format for Tekken unless you can used to how these buttons are played, or change them on your own like I had to. Only problems is makes it a little more difficult to practice with because in game practice buttons don't change. Other than that the movement and buttons a literally perfection. And if you a soul player, this is the stick for you. Take care!!
