The Jovis range features the latest nickel metal-hydride batteries to give a longer running time and improved performance, running for up to 16 minutes, you can do more vacuuming from one charge than with hand held cleaners that can cost twice as much, you could even vacuum the entire car. Jovis also features an LED battery level indicator, a five stage system that shows you just how much charge is available, charging is easy, simply place the Jovis back in the charger base which can easily be attached to a wall to maximize space.

HEPA filtration makes the Jovis hand held rechargeable vacuum cleaner ideal for allergy sufferers. HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air and was first used in the medical industry. HEPA filters catch and trap small pollutants and pollen particles, such as pollen and dust mite faeces, which would otherwise be re-circulated into the air and potentially trigger symptoms.
Power boost
Sometimes dirt and debris can become ingrained and difficult to pick up. If you need more power, Jovis has a power boost function to give you extra suction for even better vacuuming results. Simply engage the switch for an instant boost of suction power.
Easy to use and empty
Vacuuming with Jovis is ultra easy and effective. It comes with a dusting brush for cleaning hard surfaces and a crevice tool for reaching into narrow spaces, such as between car seats. The first thing that strikes one about this vacuum cleaner is its weight. It is incredibly light (when compared to similar models) and this is definitely a point in its favour. The design is well though-out and it feels very comfortable to hold and manoeuvre.
I have been using it for a few weeks now, mainly to clean debris from my car and the occasional fluff of dog hair I find in the house! Suction is generally good, and I don't have any problems picking up weighty dirt.
However, there is no option to use the mains for power, so one is dependent on charging, which thankfully doesn't take too long. I normally get a "full" charge in 2 hours or less. Unfortunately, the biggest flaw (and it is a major one!) is the fact that the battery only lasts for around 10 minutes on a complete charge. There are 4 LED lights which indicate the charge level, and suction power is lost as drainage continues.
All in all, I would give the product 3/5. This is a tad disappointing, and the hoover is only let down by its poor battery life. If you can overcome this flaw, this is a great and practical little cleaner!

The Hoover Jovis is an excellent product which is highly useful for cleaning the car and dry spills in the kitchen. The suction from the Jovis is very good for its size, and much better than other handheld devices in this category (especially the cordless ones). It can easily lift dirt from surfaces, even without using the power boost function (which consumes more power). The battery life is also very good, lasting 15 - 20 minutes on a single charge, which is more than enough for most jobs. Charging, however, seems to take a long time - especially when you take into account how long it takes to discharge the unit. Therefore, it is not ideal if you want the unit to operate for longer than the time it takes to discharge. Best to leave it charging overnight!
In conclusion, the Hoover Jovis is an excellent vacuum cleaner which is useful for cleaning up dry spills around the house (as well as cleaning the car). Highly recommended!

This machine took a while to arrive but does just the job we want. It's quick to charge, light to use and picks up stuff well. Useful in confined spaces and tricky corners. I'm happy.

not easy to open to empty
