HEPA filtration makes the Dust Manager range suitable for allergy sufferers. HEPA filters catch and trap small pollutants and pollen particles, such as pollen and dust mite faeces, which would otherwise be recirculated into the air and potentially trigger symptoms.
Effortless vacuum cleaning
The Dust Manager is packed with features. Edge to edge cleaning means you don’t need to go back with a crevice tool and hose. It also has a clever anti-tip clip to stop it toppling when you’re using the hose and can be positioned flat to easily clean under a bed or chair.

The Hoover Dust Manager Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner 2200 watt, sure is a powerful sucker-up of most things lying in it's path. It is certainly the most efficient upright that in 49 years of wedded 'warfare' we have owned. It is a delight to use, and it's power shortens the time needed to properly clean the floor surfaces of a room.
Our only reservation relating to this appliance is whether it will be durable enough to withstand the rigours of frequent use over a good few years as some of the items on it do not look to be sturdy enough, particularly the 'in use mode' ratchet and upright locking mechanism, but only time will tell.
A general point that applies to most if not all bagless uprights is the inability to empty out the collection cylinder without a lot of the dust and debris therein going onto the person doing the emptying and everywhere else except where you would like it to go. This is a serious design weakness that all manufactures need to address as the benefit having an efficient sucker-up of dust is to a certain extent diminished if it is then spewed generally into the environment.
So far we are very pleased with our purchase.

Although this hoover is good a sucking up your dust, it also has a big downside to it.
The two stars I have rated this hoover are for its cleanliness used in the upright position, but thats the only good thing I can say about this hoover.
We have dents and scrapes all over our house from when we a use the hoover in its attachment mode. As soon as you pull the hoover a little to much it topples over and trashes what ever is in its way. We have received bruises to our heads, backs and shiner to the side of my face. The hose is not even pulled to stretch, and the hose it clipped at the bottom but pops off easily too. The appliance is top heavy and will damage your property or you. Definitely don't buy if you have kids!
After a year we had to have our tilt button replaced as it had just rounded itself off.
We have repainted and filled dented walls. If you want a good hoover that needs attachments, I would go for the smiling chap... Henry!

Pleased with it so far. It has a powerful motor and picks up well. Has different settings to adjust for carpet thicknesses which seems to work well. Nice long cord and the hose reaches my stairs just as well as previous machines I have had.

Impossible to service/repair, difficult to empty
