Format:VHS Tape
A very clever video, with a very clever title. The main video is how Hootie & The Blowfish prepare for and perform a concert. They offer a good insight into how the band spend their time between concerts, relaxing and enjoying each others company. Clearly a close knit group. Basketball is quite obviously an important part of their routine when preparing for a concert, despite Darius' bad knee!
The concert covers all the favourites like "Hold my Hand" , "Let Her Cry", Drowning" plus popular tracks like "Mustang Sally", which Darius shows of his fantastic voice. A version of "Not even the Trees" is an interesting choice which the band carry off excellently.
The video is broken up in segments of the band playing, relaxing and preparing plus some moody shots of a cargo train passing through the town they are playing in.
A two hour video that is excellent value and an absolute must have for Hootie fans. Which sadly comes to an end, feeling like you have been to the concert and want that encore to go on and on.
Top video from a top band. We need more Hootie.

"Cracked Rear View" on the road

An in-concert video intercut with footage of the band on the road -- doing radio interviews, killing time at amusement parks, getting ready for the show backstage. The "day in the life" stuff takes up pretty much the first half of the tape, while the concert itself brings the tape home in Act II. An interesting peek at the band just as "Cracked Rear View" was smashing sales records everywhere. Even Hootie bashers may be forced to admit that, damn, that Darius Rucker can SING! Medley of "Love the One You're With" and "Fight the Power" blows the roof off the dump (or would if it wasn't an outdoor show). "Mustang Sally" provides the coda.

Hootie is real home cookin in this 1995 vidio

This is a look at hootie at there best right on the brink of stardom,with the release of cracked rear, this vidio is amazing to watch them perform at this stage in there careers.the songs from that album come out clean and fresh . plus there are songs on this vidio that the group no longer perform.

Traditional Hootie

This compelation of songs is good for anyone who is a traditional Hootie fan. I would have liked if they had included some of the "less traditional" songs that they tend to perform in concert. For anyone who knows the typical radio songs and enjoys singing along to them, I would think they would like this DVD.
