Hooper Humperdink 12 Dec 2006
Format:Paperback
A brilliant book, I still have my original 1976 copy, but the pages are falling out from constant use, so am buying a new copy for my son. "Nobody wants to invite Hooper, Humperdinks a party pooper" utter brilliance, forget Shakespear this is the stuff!!!!!!

I'm 28 years old, and at the stage of buying books for my own children. Hooper Humperdink? Not him, is one of my all time best reads. The book not only teaches you your ABC but touches on the funny side of life. Your little pet hates and things that put you off people. It is beautifully illistrated and written. Though I have not had my own copy for about fifteen years I can almost remember every page of the book. The basic story is : There is going to be a huge party with everything you could think of to make it the most incredible party ever! Everyone is invited but Hooper Humperdink NOT HIM. However there is a twist at the end, that leaves you feeling as though life is just TOO good for anybody to miss out.
