Whether you are a Gundam SEED watcher or not, I highly recommend this song and it one of my favorites. Performed by FictionJunction YUUKA with accompaning instrumentals that give the song an amazing edge and classic feeling, this song is relaxing, while emotion sturring and pensive.
If you watch GS or GSD watcher you can appreciate the lyrics in a different way because of your familiarity with the character Cagalli. This song is about Cagalli and is fitting and sad. The lyrics allude to her life; as she takes on more responsibilities, deals with her fears, and tries to deal with her past, she still has that firey inner strength and outside support to carry her through her toughest times.
"The door of dawn is opened by a painful finger...right now the wind is strong supported by the flame in my heart...On the other side of the gate your gentle hands snatch away the tears, so that once more I can believe in love."
