Stiles and Drew are an amazing partnership. The story is clever, witty and entertaining and the songs stay in your head for years to come. It should be performed more often. A fun and entertaining CD from a great show!

Format:Audio CD
The type of musical that can be performed by an amateur group providing they have a good selection of soloists. The music is very 'samey' and for the show to be of any worth the production has to be the star of the evening.

I was recently hired as a drummer to perform this musical. I purchased this sound track to get a good grip on the 'feel' for this show.

The product description does not make this obvious: There's no band/orchestra in this recording! It's just piano and vocals. I feel that I've wasted my money on the full price for only half of what should be going on in the pit.

Honk is a wonderful musical and I would recommend it. These recordings do not do it justice. Also, just so you know, the samples on amazon are not right. The songs don't match up.
