Condition: Used: Good
Comment: Overall VERY GOOD+ condition - single, almost unnoticeable crease to spine dictates only "Good" condition. Very light rubbing to fore corners with a tiny crease to top fore corner of cover and last three pages and a small mark to fore edge of pages. Otherwise immaculate condition. . Product Description

From the Author

Honiton a Glimpse Back is my first published work and it took me nearly three years to complete. The book is a compact, in-depth piece with short, easy to read chapters and a large number of colour/b&w photos and images.
The proceeds of the first edition are to be donated to local charities.

From the Back Cover

Take `a glimpse back' at the colourful and interesting history of the Devonian town of Honiton. Known as `the gateway to the west' this little settlement has a history spanning one thousand years and this book takes an in depth look at what the town was like in Victorian times.
This is your guide to Honiton in the mid-nineteenth century which encapsulates local beliefs, the rich and poor, travel, farming, education, religion, who lived and worked here and how the area has changed over the centuries.
