I needed a fan that wasn't too quiet as I use it at night to create a kind of 'white noise' effect to drown out the noise of the planes (I live near a flight path). It's not really noisy but gives a nice hum (I have to turn it up to the highest setting before it's actually loud enough to drown out some planes. Works great for cooling too :)

Arrived in 2 days, was easy to put together and looks great very stylish in chrome. Fan is really powerful to even on the first setting.

stopped working after one night
