The Honeywell HO-5500RE Oscillating Tower Fan with Remote and Timer has a practical and contemporary space saving design to cool your home in style. Air flow capacity can be controlled at 3 different settings to reach your desired level, this can be controlled by the easy to use control panel, or from across the room via the remote control. Should you want to change the setting because you are too hot, or too cold, you don't even have to leave the comfort of your chair should the remote be to hand. A large oscillation function ensures evenly distributed air directed into various spaces across the room, and a gliding grill function means you get all the benefits of the oscillation function with out any safety concerns as motor housing remains stable and oscillation is internal. The timer allows you to programme the fan for up to 4 hours cooling so you are in control. 3 years warranty makes this fan ideal for the summer months or for air circulation all year round.

Bought this for the bedroom and luckily its a big room because its a big fan. Takes alot of room but I am happy with it. Its got some nice features and the remote is handy as is the timer function. So why not 5 stars?
1) The blue lights are very bright at night. I have put some black tape on to try to dim them.
2) The countdown timer could be more flexible. Its 30 mins, 1, 2, 4 hours which is o.k but would have been nice if we could enter a custom time in at this price.

Absolutely gorgeous design and outstanding performance. Best bang for your buck you can hope for.
Works flawlessly (2 months of use) and chills air just so.
Produces very low amount of noise (I barely can hear it's running, even whilst sleeping!) and absolutely love breeze/night mode.
Looking for a well looking product, with a well known brand name (Honeywell) and impressive performance? Go for this!

I am very pleased with this tower fan, dont expect air conditioning performance because its only a fan, but on the lowest speed its really quite and about the same air flow or maby more than a desk fan on max speed setting.
i really like the natural wind setting it replicates the breeze effect, this is good because you get small blasts of air with out the constate fan noise.
i would rate this tower fan 9/10, the only thing holding this from a 10 star is the price, its a bit expensive but you do get a solid build quality and a name brand.

Nice fan, works well and looks stylish
I bought this fan for use in our living room and conservatory. I like the design, it is stylish and the footprint is fairly small which is what we want for small rooms. Read more
