Product Description

Synopsis

Honda's CB750 was one of the most important bikes of the 1970s and is considered by many to be the original superbike. Launched in 1969, Honda's first four-cylinder roadster revolutionized the motorcycle market, setting new standards of sophistication, user-friendliness and reliable high performance. The CB750, with its overhead camshaft engine, five-speed gearbox and disc front brake, changed the face of recreational motorcycling worldwide. This is an illustrated guide to this innovative bike.

Nice Info 24 April 2008
By Robert T. Sturtzen - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is a nice coffee table book for any motorcycle enthusiast but more particularly an early Honda student. The book contains numerous facts from the historical development of the CB750, to its competitors of the time and its technical specifications. The book also has many inserts on related topics such as personal experiences with the machine, previous Honda models that led to the development of the bike, and excerpts on other interesting motorcycles of the time that were related to the 750. A great book to have around to read in short bursts and a must for any 750 owner interested in where his bike came from.

I purchased this book for my son for Christmas. It arrived quickly, and as described. My son was very happy. I highly recommend Amazon.

Absolutely the best book I've read on the Superbike Honda CB750 Four. Not only does this book go into the history and development of the CB750, but it also gives the history of other bikes and how Honda took "center-stage". The Honda CB750 set the standard by which all other bikes are measured. This book is a must-have if you love motorcycles as much as I do, and the hard-cover is great.
