This does the job without fuss. It takes about 15mins to boil 8 litres of water from cold. It has a built in thermostat to prevent boil dry and to keep water at a suitable temperature for hot drinks. The gap between the tap and the drip tray is suitable to hold a normal size mug.
Definately a better alternative to boiling 3 kettles for meetings of about 20 people.

We often have groups of 10 to 20 at a meeting/gathering and this is perfect for this purpose. Much quicker and easier than boiling two kettles twice! Fast boil and good control. Light and easy to store. Perfect for my purpose. Thanks to others who wrote reviews, these helped me in deciding to purchase.

Really good little urn
Brilliant little urn. Boiled the water quickly. We were without a boiler for a couple of weeks and this saved us endless kettles. Very good service from seller. Thank you.

"It does what is says on the tin"
