I've had this steam mop for a few months now and wouldn't be without it. I said that about my last steam mop too, but this is superior. This mop is light, heats up quickly and is relatively (with a little brute force) easy to assemble. It has a clip to hold the power cord out of the way to avoid running over it. The pad attaches by velcro to the bottom of the mop which holds it firmly in place, even with heavy duty scrubbing. This is a much better arrangement than my last one which was a toggle fastening, which kept coming off the mop head. So far I have cleaned my solid wood floors, lino, adhesive floor tiles (I worried that the heat would melt the glue - it didnt) and a very filthy carpet. Cleaning the carpet killed two mop heads. The mop heads do wash very well and are reuseable. For the first few uses, I noticed that a smell is created as the steam evaporates. The smell diminishes the more you use it. Both hard floors and carpets are nearly dry within a few minutes as promised. I would recommend this cleaner for all hard floors - I can't do without it. It is good for sanitising carpets, but not a substitute for a carpet shampooer. The only real fault I found with this product is that it is difficult to empty completely for storage - you have to take the handle off and shake it over the sink - the instructions arent very clear on that one.

Latest Model Home-tek Light 'n' Easy Eco Steam Mop Value Package This is definitely one of my better buys. I have 2 small dogs who like to scurry around in the undergrowth of the trees in the garden. It ends up with what seems like half the garden on the kitchen floor.
Every day I sweep the floor then get my super steam mop out and 'Bobs your uncle' the floor is back to pristine condition again. It is so easy to use. I have discovered just how much water I need to put in the small tank to steam all of the floor, so there is no need for me to empty any excess out.
If more water than was needed was put in, then it is a bit of a clat emptying the excess as you have to lift and upturn the mop over the sink, hence knowing how much each room takes is handy, but that comes with regular use.
The water tank has a small screw top knob, but it is advisable to buy a small funnel to use when putting the water in as the hole is quite small and water spills will happen otherwise. I think if it had a larger lip then it would probably eradicate this. Once turned on, the steam is there within seconds.
The mop comes with 2 cotton pads which Velcro on the base, they can be washed in your washing machine.
All in all, I think this really is one of the best, if not the best, gadgets I have ever purchased, it is so light and quick to use. I definitely recommend this mop, superb!

I purchased this item after reading previous reviews on here saying it was a great product. They were not lying!! For the price, this steam mop is of exceptional quality. My last steam mop constantly flooded the floor leaving puddles that I then had to wipe up anyway. This mop steams and sanitizes effortlessly, is light and easily manoeuverable and most importantly doesn't leave me with puddles to mop up manually!
The problem of the cloth coming off of the mop that happens with the useless toggle system of many of the more expensive steam mops has been eliminated here by the use of velcro to attach the pads to the mop. Replacement pads are also available at a very reasonable price. This velcro system that holds the mop heads in place allows for more vigourous scrubbing of some tougher marks such as scuff marks on tiled floors.
The one downfall that I have found with this product is that I have to empty it outside as whichever way I twist it over the sink, I cannot get enough room to completely empty the tank. Though this is just a small gripe and overall the item is fantastic fora lower priced steam mop.

What a superb device, ideal for laminate floors when there are dogs and cats in the home. Leaves floors clean and only slightly damp, also good on carpets and rugs.
