Bought this product as a replacement for a Polti steam cleaner. Love it! I've got a tiled floor in kitchen/diner & conservatory and this makes light work of cleaning them and doesn't leave the floors wet. You need to go over marks a few times but as the mop is so light and easy to use, this is not a problem. You need to keep topping up the water reservoir, as it doesn't hold that much water, but again filling is a breeze. I also bought additional mop pads although 2 came with the mop. Equally as good steam cleaning as a Polti and much cheaper.

this product works just fine
its light and easy to use ( big bonus over mop /bucket)
the steam cleaning is not as "powerful" as I has imagined - ie it still takes a bit of back/forward effort to shift any stains etc
I rather wish the steam could be scented somehow because its not a fantastic odour after the room is done
(sometimes I follow on after the steam mop with an antiseptic floor wipe just to get the clean smell)
the cleaning pads are sticking on for now but I fear that will deteriorate after a few more washes
Overall - Im glad I have it. It does a decent job at a good price point

Delivery was super fast and free. It does the job very well, however, no-one has mentioned that after it dries (which takes an impressive 1 minute if that), in the light, you will see it leaves a clear streak mark so I will have to buy polish cloths to get that out. My wooden floors are high gloss but this leaves a matt finish but overall, I am happy with the results. Another thing I noticed was that after hoovering the place, although the cloth picks up as much dust as possible, not all is stuck to the cloth so brown wet dust gathers at the corners or edges of the area you've mopped. These are very small matters which doesn't bear an hindrance to how I feel about its excellent performance. I was going to purchase the H2O mop advertised on TV but after reading the reviews here, I thought best not especially as many reviewers complained that the H2O took 30 minutes to dry or left the floor extremely wet. This hometek mop has the area dry within ONE minute which I am extremely pleased about casuing less disruption all round. The cloth enclosed with the product with the abrasive surface was great on my vinyl floors which has grooves where dirt embeds itself. I scrubbed this area with the mop and on my first attempt, it took as much dirt as it could. I'm sure on my subsequent attempts I will get all hidden marks from my vinyl. I used the softer cloth on my wooden floor but additionally ordered the set of 3 soft cloths for each room in my home as I intend to use one cloth per room. I just used a full dose of my ionic water which was enough water for the bathroom and kitchen and another for the living room and large coridoor. This also comes with a free water softener which, after reading the instrucitons, had me slightly confused but that's another story...
