This book provides basic construction tips as well as excellent advice on how to properly support a tree house. I built a tree house for my son this summer.

A Good Read,

If you are one of those people who have always wanted a treehouse, but don't know how to build one, now is the time to get down to some quality reading! This book provides you with information about some past experiences of Treehouse owners / builders, and will give you some good starting ground to build upon. The book includes information on good safety tips (including a few useful knots), and the basics of building a treehouse. This book has some breathtaking photographs, too, and the work pretty well with the diagrams. All in all this is not the best book to get if you want ideas, but still a very good book for starting ground.

As the principle photographer for most of this book, I had the pleasure of working side-by-side with Peter as he crafted one of his homes in the sky. Not only is he a wonderful author and researcher, Peter is an excellent architect and builder. His tireless work in publishing his two books is evident in the fine writing and detail. I recommend this book for anyone interested in building anything in the air.
