Just great

Absolutely fantastic for the wine-making. The wide cap is simply a brilliant idea. It's wide enough to put your arm in for washing, I also accidentally dropped the O-ring washer inside and was able to fish it out very easily. Seems durable, handles make it easy to move around and the LCD strips are very useful for making sure you keep the whole thing at the right temperature.

And as much as I have nothing to criticise the product for, a word of advice for novices. Initially I didn't bother to put the petroleum jelly around the cap and I had the gas leaking out that way. And since you can't see what's going on inside (as you would with a glass demijohn), I was convinced that my yeast died so I had to open the cap and have a look inside. Since I've used the jelly to seal the cap, everything works as it should.

With the tap put at the bottom it is first class. with the 4" cap it allows you to put in larger items to enhance taste to the fermentation process, also makes it a lot easier to clean. Essential piece of kit.
