Product Description

Home Accounts helps you manage your personal finances by keeping track of your bank accounts and identifying what you spend your money on. Home Accounts uses a simple form of double-entry bookkeeping that lets you record any payment or receipt against any income, expenditure, asset or liability account. An analysis of your transactions then shows you at a glance exactly what you spent your money on.

Bank Accounts
Create unlimited bank accounts for your cheque, savings and credit card accounts.

See at a glance what your bank account balances are and what standing orders and direct debits you have due for posting.

Use the account reconciliation screen to check what you've entered in the software agrees with your paper bank statement.

Import transactions from using QIF and CSV file formats exported from your on-line banking site.

Other Accounts
Create unlimited income and expense accounts to analyse where your money comes from and where it goes to!

Create unlimited accounts for your assets and liabilities and see at any time what your net worth is.

Automated Entries
Set up automated entries for your standing orders and direct debits. Automated entries can be for any frequency and can be for a fixed number of postings or can be set to run until further notice.

Budget for future spending
Set yourself a budget for any or all of your accounts. Account budgets are used to predict future spending and to compare actual spending against. See how your spending is doing against your budget in the "Spending Tracker".

Produce charts
Produce professional-looking charts, in a variety of types, of your historical spending and budget forecasts.

EZPZ Home Accounts 27 May 2011
Having retired recently I needed to analyse our spending more closely and this software package is proving to be ideal for my purposes. It really is easy to use with a good help section. I also keep records of income and expenses for two rental properties and a property abroad. I really am pleased with my purchase.

Excelent 21 Aug 2011
I have been using Quicken 2002 for the last nine years and had no problems until it decided not to work so had to look for a new package. Looked at many different ones and narrowing them down and finally decided upon "Home Accounts". It works completely differently to Quicken, but only took a short time to get a basic understanding from the instructions, then started to input data. It is very easy to use once you have the basic knowledge and confidence increases, and as a 66 year young user others should have no problem. The automatic entries are better than Quicken as is the Budget. This is very good, and you can also see how you are progressing with expenditure against budget with the "Spending Tracker", which as data is built up you can use to adjust your budget. In conclusion I am very glad that I have changed and would recommend it to any one serious about keeping accurate records.

Home Accounts EZPZ 21 Sep 2011
By tupance
The software is a good accounting system if you know how to set it up at the beginning, But it will not down load your bank statement onto its software so you can check if you have entered all your entries correctly, or let you put together graphs showing the future payments letting you see how your account is going to be in three or six months time etc.

This system only shows graphs of past payments witch have already happened, and are no good for future forecasting.
