The Reverend Aelwyn wrote this book after retiring as a parish priest of 45 years. He regarded sorting out problems between present and 'past' tenants as part of his job as a parson. He soon found that spirits had their own problems. During his ministry he was able to help in some small part. In the book he describes the variety of spirits he has met and talked to and also helped during the years.

Well, if you can't believe a vicar who can you believe? Who would have thought that there could be so many ghosts in that small area around Bangor.
Each story is unique and the follow ups are fascinating particularly when the Reverend Roberts discovers more facts about a ghost's life, from elderly folk living in the community.

This book provides a great insight into the processes that are used in seances and exorcism, and a real man's views on the existence of the spirit world. Roberts' points are both believable and persuasive, and it is remarkable to think this man never saw a ghost. A great read for believer and non-believer alike, but could have been a little longer.
