"Fans of Janet Evanovich will love this spin off of the High Heels Mysteries!" - Jen. B, avid reader

From New York Times, USA Today, and #1 Kindle Bestselling author Gemma Halliday...

Cameron Dakota is the L.A. Informer's staff photographer and paparazzi extraordinaire. Her latest subject is Trace Brody, top-shelf actor and half of America's favorite Hollywood couple. Trace is about to get married in a blow-out wedding, and Cam’s editor, Felix Dunn (from the High Heels Mysteries), has assigned her to get the first shots of the bride and groom. But when Cam takes pictures of what looks like Trace being threatened at gunpoint, she suddenly finds herself smack in the middle of a scandal more sensational than even she could invent. On the run, under fire, and in serious danger of falling in love with one leading man, Cam must get to the bottom of this story... before she becomes tomorrow's headline.

the Hollywood Headlines Mysteries:
Hollywood Scandals - book #1
Hollywood Secrets - book #2
Hollywood Confessions - book #3
Twelve's Drummer Dying - holiday short story

“The latest in the Hollywood Headlines series is 320 pages of pure fun. Halliday has created yet another laugh-out-loud whodunit. She breathes life into her mystery with a rich cast of vivid, pulp-fiction type characters and a heroine worth rooting for. 4 1/2 stars!”

4.0 out of 5 stars Photographer of LA informer goes sleuthing... 25 Jun 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
Book 2 in the "Hollywood Headlines" series previously published with the title " The Perfect Shot". The "Hollywood Headlines" series follows a different character who works at the L.A. Informer in each book as they do some sleuthing.
Cameron Dakota, the L.A. Informer photographer is following Trace Brody, hot film star and his fiancée Jamie Lee Lancaster in the weeks leading up to their wedding hoping to get the ultimate pre-wedding photos. During one of her stake-outs she sees Trace being kidnapped and decides to follow and, of course, she becomes drawn into doing some investigating.
We meet some of the characters from the "High Heels" series and from " Hollywood Scandals".
Another good read from Gemma Halliday which mixes chick-lit with some mystery.
TBR if you enjoyed the "High Heels" series.

a photo can break through those barriers we put up and freeze a moment in time where your soul does, in fact, reveal itself for all to see. It’s always amazing to me how the camera lens can see what the naked eye passes by dozens of times a day without noticing. "e;

Despite his I-slept-in-my-car appearance, Tina told me that Felix was actually a millionaire several times over, thanks to some obscure British lordship he’d inherited a few years back. The word around the office was that he was even some distant cousin to the queen, though no one had had the resources (or guts) to try to prove or disprove that one "e;
