Format:Audio CD
I wasn't sure what to expect when I put this CD on but the first track ("Call Me") was such a wonderful surprise I was soon grinning in delight. Most of the songs follow the same tempo (slow and easy), making this a perfect album for the evening. That's not to say they're boring: each one is crafted just enough to sound distinct. The best surprises were "Eye of the Tiger", "Footloose" (re-invented as a surprisingly suitable jazzy toe-tapper) and "Electric Dreams". The original is one of my favourite songs of all time but I'm actually starting to prefer the cover! A brave attempt that succeeds with flying colours.

If you like this band or this kind of music don't loiter and buy it!
If you don't know what is it about and want to enjoy really amazing remakes of well known songs my advice is still the same. Buy it ;-)
I even think these versions of "popular" songs are much better than original ones.

These a great cover songs from a great band:)) I would recommend it and other Nouvelle Vague cds as well..
