I bought this book for my daughter as a prize to be given to her from the church that we go to, she's 12 1/2 but on glancing through it a lot of it is about which girls love which boys someone cheated on someone etc and we felt firstly that it wasn't suitable to be given as a prize from a church and also she's quite young at 12 to be having novels with that as the starting story,she's not into boys in a big way. It does have a lot of'church' stuff running through it and mentions about praying to God etc, and I think it's written for about age 13 but not really a content I want her to have. I'll put it away and give her next year. I was disappointed as I love Beverley Lewis books but I'm not too impressed at the younger age ones

I loved this book it was the first book in the series that i read and it was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I COULDNT PUT IT DOWN LITERALLY COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN. MY MOM SAID I WAS READING TOO MUCH. She said that I needed to give my eyes a rest but I couldn't it was too good. I took it every where even in a store while my mom was shopping. It has a great story line. It talks about how she doesn't think she fits in just because she doesnt look like other girls. It also talks about boy trouble and her first break up. Also how she deals with that too. Its a very good book for Christian girls. If you are a mom who thinks like my mom, you want your daughther to grow up a christian life. And this is a very christian based book. But dont get me wrong it is not like a sermon book. It is very entertaining. I plan to read the next book in the series!!!!!!!!!!!
