I absolutely loved this book. The dialogue is funny, the characters leap off the page and it's got that feel good factor in spades. Holly finds herself without a home, without her fiance and nearly without a job, thanks to her back-stabbing colleagues at the museum of costume where she works. She upsets a potential donor to the museum and in order to redeeem herself, volunteers to go on a cruise and give some talks about the history of fashion. The people she meets on the cruise are funny and kind as well as attractive and she finds herself crossing swords again with Dennis King - the museum patron who she upset. Will Holly find her dreams come true? Or will she end up back where she started? Everything that happens to Holly is in character and not just in the book for the sake of the plot. I could imagine someone like Holly finidng herself in all these scrapes. Throughout it all she remains a really nice person which is why she finds her friends are backing her all the way. This is a brilliant book to read by the pool when you're away on holiday, or if you're scared of flying take this to read - you're bound to forget the fear!
