Holli Castillo

Holli Castillo is an attorney in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. She is an appellate public defender and former New Orleans prosecutor. Prior to receiving her law degree, she worked her way through the University of New Orleans at the Can Can Cabaret, a can can show in the Royal Sonesta Hotel on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Drama in 1990 and a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University in 1996. Her novel, Gumbo Justice, the first in the Crescent City Mystery Series, was published by Oak Tree Press in June, 2009. The novel was originally scheduled for publication in 2008 but was pushed back after Holli was in a head-on collision with a drunk driver in June, 2008, which left her immobile for six months.
