Dirty punk guitar, riffs vie with Andre's silky cracked baritone in a live set. All served, as he discovers his true forte; 60's punk riffing, done in a Cramps take over. This allows Andre to veer towards the sighs and groans of St. Lux, in wry observation, he can detail the curve and lilt of the feminine body as it sways from leg to thigh, creating a wonder world as it comes all over him.
The whole set is devoted to the Karma Sutra of his imagination. Favorite pair of pyjamas, jailbait, you've got it I want it; all slabbering at the jowls of an OAP, still brimming full with the sap of vitality, his eyes light up like bonfires when he sees a well turned ankle in a pair of black or red stilletos slinking down the street in a short tight skirt. Pure poetry and the Behind of Andre's message is; Don't get old before your time.

This one's not bad. The band are good, Andre's definitely on form here, and he does many of his classics such as 'Jailbait', this version being especially funny. The recording quality is a bit Lo-Fi, but, well, it's OK. As you can see from the song titles, though, this album is VERY explicit, and is certainly not for tender souls. If you're familiar with Andre's wild songs and want a live album, this is it.

I'm not quite sure what it was i was 'thinking' when i initially shirked this disc... Perhaps because it is LIVE recording, possibly due to the BAND's Name (THE GREEN HORNET? What kind Of Band Names itself THE GREEN HORNET??)
Man 'O' man was i OUTTA pocket!! & Regardless Of whatever it was that had 'possessed' @ the time - I'm better know... and better for it,
Esp. now that i've got Andre Williams over here with me....
Andre's release; "BAIT & SWITCH", from a few years back (ON NORTON Records), is a beautiful & 'playful' SHOWCASE Of talent, even having Ronnie Spector & Rudy Ray Moore Showing-up to lend a hand On some numbers, butt even these don't hold a candle OR a ball Of twine to this release! THIS IS "STRAIGHT-UP" HOUSEROCKIN' MUSIC!!
If you can't "DEAL wit' dis" STOP reading RIGHT NOW & Go back to listening to R.E.M. & THE PEPLACEMENTS...
Again I Say:" THIS IS "STRAIGHT-UP" HOUSEROCKIN' MUSIC!!"
Which GOES STRAIGHT into Your EarHole and GETS right down into YOUR SOUL!!
It would seem that i'd momentairly forgotten: "The filth & The Fury" Of seeing Mr. Williams in person. AND this Band THE GREEN HORNET, Sounding an awful lot like THE GORIES, its like he's got THE GORIES As a 'back-up' band and these guys may even to be playing in tune!
