5.0 out of 5 stars A must for nature-loving garden owners! 3 April 2011
By Hydra
If you want to know what all that wildlife is in your garden, this is the book for you. It includes birds, frogs, newts and toads, spiders, insects and mammals, as well as centipedes, snails, slugs and worms, a surprising variety of which can be found in our gardens. Each species is illustrated with a superb artwork, and there is additional information (with illustrations) on fascinating things like spiders' webs. The book is not heavy or cumbersome to use, and a plastic wallet makes it ideal for the outdoors, while the insert chart enables you to look up different species quickly.

The book is very good value for money, and it's well worth buying the whole series - there are also separate concise guides for Birds, Butterflies, Wild Flowers, Trees and Insects, all of which adopt the same format as this one.
