Holiday! What an awesome track! It's extremly catchy and the live version of this song is also on the CD and it is superb!One of the best Green Day songs to-date.

this is the best song on the album. i like how this version fades out in the end so you can put the song on a mix without having to put boulevard of broken dreams on it too. the live tracks are pretty good, especially holiday because billie does the " the is not an anti-american song, this song is anti-war!!!!" thing. however i wouldn't buy this unless you are really into green day like me, or if you can get it cheap used, its not essential because its on the album.

This is a good cd-single but, you should only buy it if you are a true Green Day fan or if Holiday & Boulovard are the only songs you like on American Idiot.

And I prefer Holiday for it's upbeat demeanor.
Holiday - 4.5 stars. Boulevard of Broken Dreams - 4 stars. Cover Art: A Inside Art: ? Songwriting: B+ Vocals: C+ Vocal Emotion: C Vocal Acrobatics: F Production: B Length: A 4.25 stars. Overall: B- Goths and sexy emo boys and girls gobbled this one up for sure. They both were rather big from my point of view. |
