All I can say is this: as a guitarist, Ollie Halsall is definitely amongst the top two guitarists ever (we owe everthing to Hendrix really); as a singer, well, Mike Patto... that's all you have to say. As a drummer and bassist - well, they hold the groove down...As a prog rock fan, this is one of the best CD's of the '70's, easily, if not longer. What beats them? Red by King Crimson - and that's it. As a Death Metal musician I shouldn't even be doing a review of Patto - but that's how great they were. I'm a huge Robert Fripp and Mick Ronson fan, but still this is ultimately some of the best, most fluid, perfect guitar I've heard, ever. If you want to hear great guitar, chordal and SOLOS (my god, the solos!!!!), vocals, and be blown away by how a great band should be (and still so sadly underrated too), then Patto is where to start - and this CD is the best example of why Patto would have been HUGE if myspace had been around in 1971. Absolute classic. Such a shame no feck bought it at the time.

Among the Top Two 9 April 2007
Format:Audio CD
The significance of this album is best summarised in the words of drummer John Halsey: "Ollie (Halsall) may not have been the world's best guitarist, but he was certainly among the top two". Simply essential.

Sublime Jazz Blues! 17 Jun 2008
By S. Webb
Format:Audio CD
This album,in my humble opinion represents the finest work that the mercurial Halsall/Patto partnership conjured up...Vibrant, Tight as a duck`s arse,....with lyrics to die for.
